App State 2025 Football Schedule
The App State Mountaineers will face a challenging 2025 football schedule, with games against some of the top teams in the Sun Belt Conference and a non-conference matchup against a Power Five opponent.
The Mountaineers open the season on the road against the James Madison Dukes, who will be making their debut in the Sun Belt Conference in 2025. App State will then host the Old Dominion Monarchs in its home opener. The Mountaineers will also face Sun Belt foes Arkansas State, Louisiana, South Alabama, and Texas State at home during the season.
App State’s non-conference schedule includes a trip to Raleigh to face the NC State Wolfpack, who are coming off a 9-3 season in 2022. The Mountaineers will also host the Liberty Flames, who are a perennial contender in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS).
